(1) Dimethyl phthalate (DMP) is a plasticizer with strong solubility for a variety of resins, and is compatible with a variety of cellulose resins, rubber, vinyl resins.
 
(2) Dimethyl phthalate (DMP) has good film forming properties, adhesion and water repellency.
 
(3) Dimethyl phthalate (DMP) is usually used in the production of cellulose acetate film, varnish, transparent paper and molding powder in combination with diethyl phthalate, and is used in the production of nitrocellulose.
 
(4) Dimethyl phthalate (DMP) can also be used as a plasticizer for nitrile rubber, and the product has good cold resistance.
 
(5) Mixed with other plasticizers, Dimethyl phthalate (DMP) can overcome the disadvantages of high volatility and low temperature crystallization.
 
(6) Dimethyl phthalate (DMP) can also be used as a solvent for mosquito oil (crude oil).
